Idaho Youth Ranch is a non-profit agency that seeks to aid struggling children and their families, with over 400 Idaho residents staffing their stores.
The ranch operates a 24-hour shelter, called Hays House, for homeless and runaway youths. Residents participate in charitable activities and partake of support services, such as family and individual counseling and structured education. Resident children in grades 9 to 12 have access to an accredited academic program, which includes GED testing and instruction.
Besides aiding young people in Hays House, the ranch launches and supports initiatives promoting healthy home environments, job readiness, adoption, and scholarship.
