Little Rock, Fayetteville, and Fort Smith have the most Goodwill and Salvation Army locations. Rural areas depend on churches and community groups. If you want your donation to go further, the Delta region in eastern Arkansas has far greater need and fewer options than the rest of the state. Frequently Asked Questions
Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, Salvation Army, and Dorcas House (which serves women and children in crisis) all accept donations. Salvation Army also does free pickup in the Little Rock area.

Work boots, jeans, rain gear, and kids' clothing in all sizes. The Delta region (Pine Bluff, West Memphis, Helena) has the greatest need and fewest donation centers.
August for back-to-school drives, especially kids' uniforms and school clothes. October for winter coat drives. After spring tornado season, affected communities need everything.
